Nannies Seeking New Families:
We are actively seeking highly qualified nannies to match with new families. Our ideal candidates have at least 5 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 2 years as a full-time nanny, with verifiable references. We require a valid ID or driver's license, clear criminal background, Trustline registration, CPR and First Aid certification, and up-to-date vaccinations. Submit your professional childcare resume in Word or PDF format. Our referral service is completely free of charge for nannies.
What is the going rate for a professional nanny?
Every nanny brings a unique set of credentials, educational background, special skills, and years of experience. Their rates are determined by these qualifications, the number of children in your family, and the specific requirements and expectations of the job. We only consider candidates with a minimum of 5 years of professional childcare experience.
In the Los Angeles area, rates for professional live-out nannies currently start at $30 to $35 per hour, with the possibility of higher rates depending on various factors. As the employer, you will be responsible for all associated legal obligations, including worker's compensation, insurance, payment, and tax withholding. While we do not provide official guidance on these matters, we strongly recommend consulting your insurance broker and accountant. What does this service cost?
At Little Blessings Nanny Agency, we are committed to providing effective and affordable services. Our pricing is designed to be straightforward and competitive:
Placement Fee: 10% of nannies annual salary
This fee is charged when you extend an offer to one of our nannies and they accept. It includes the initial drafting of your family/nanny work agreement, which helps set up a successful arrangement. Additionally, it covers the cost of your new nanny's Trustline application if they are not already registered.
What does your vetting procedure include?
Once we have a clear understanding of your needs and the specifics of the position, we will start by reviewing our database of prescreened nannies and reaching out to those in our local network. If necessary, we will also post the job listing in various locations, collect and evaluate resumes, conduct virtual interviews, and personally speak with references. Our goal is to create detailed biographies for the nannies who we believe may be a good fit for your family.
We will provide you with these biographies and resumes and arrange virtual interviews on your behalf. If you decide to proceed after an interview, we will inform the candidate of your interest in offering a one-day trial job with your family. Once the candidate confirms their interest, we will verify their Trustline registration with the California Child Care Resource and Referral Network and/or perform a background check through ClearChecks.
Please note that while our service handles the background checks, you will be billed separately for each screening. The starting rate for the most popular option is $39.99, with additional options available.
After the trial day, if you choose to offer the nanny a position and they accept, we will assist in drafting a work agreement for mutual approval before their first day. We are here to support you throughout the entire process!
